  • 180g caster sugar
  • 180g softened butter
  • 175g self-raising flour
  • 4 eggs
  • grated zest of 1 lemon
  • 2/3 teaspoon baking powder

lemon drizzle toping:

  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 100 gram granulated sugar


  • preheat the oven at 180ºC.take a cake pan about 9*13 inches. place a parchment paper in the cake pan.
  • take a large bowl and beat all the eggs, flour, caster sugar, butter, lemon zest, and baking powder.
