Lemon cake recipe

ingredients:

  • 1/2 all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter milk

Lemon icing:

1 cup powder sugar, 2/3 tbsp milk,2 tbsp lemon juice

Lemon syrup:

1/3 cup lemon juice,4tbsp powder sugar.

Instructions:

  1. first preheat the oven at 350°F and take pan cake.
  2. take a bowl and add a flour,lemon zest,and baking powder and salt and combine all these items.
  3. in another bowl that attach with a stand mixer paddle attachment.add a cream butter and sugar together and combine all the items well up to 4 to 6 minutes.
  4. reduce the speed off mixture and add a eggs, vanilla extract and and lemon juice and now beat well when you feel now this is combines well.
  5. now add a flour mixture and butter cream and combine all the items together and beat well until all the item not combine well.repeat this steps for 2 to 3 times.
  6. now mixture is ready and now you have to scrape the batter in to cake pan and set time means baking time 30 to 45 minutes and check when its give colour golden brown.
  7. now invert the cake pan and now cool down the cake about 15 minutes.
  8. when you feel now its cool not a hot.then take a lemon syrup and brush the syrup on the cake.
  9. now take a lemon icing which is we made milk,butter cream, and lemon juice.take icing which is thick and frosting on the cake.
