Today I will show you how to make this homemade butterscotch milkshake so keep watching and I’ll show you step-by-step how to make this now the first thing you want to do is start off by preparing your glass.
Now I’m using this glass it’s a tall glass you can use whatever kind you like what I have here are some butterscotch morsels they can get these in any baking store and a baking aisle of your grocery store and I’ve melted some of them in the microwave.
- 2 cup milk
- 2 tsp butterscotch chips
- 2 tsp butterscotch sauce
- 2 big scoop butterscotch ice cream
All I did was 20 to 30 seconds at a time melt them stir them until they’re completely melted I also put some in a little Ziploc baggie just any plastic bag will do and I’m going to cut a piece cut a small hole out right now and I’m going to start off by lining the inside of my glass.
Now you can kind of drizzle it in there any way you want and it doesn’t have to have any type of design but I’m just trying to get pretty good coverage on the sides of it okay and that’s good now this is really thick which is the way.
I want it I don’t want to melt it so much that it’s real thin and runny now I didn’t want to use all of this because I’m going to use that in a little bit later for something else just make sure you have this bowl that’s a little wider than the mouth of your glass.
Because now what we’re going to do is turn your glass over and dip it into your butterscotch.
You want to get that rim nice and covered with all that butterscotch get it nice and covered and you can just turn it back over and let it drip down perfect now with a blender just take about a cup of milk.
Which I’m just going to pour right into my blender take about a teaspoon of vanilla extract and I’m going to put about three to four scoops maybe even five because this is a small scooper.
But if you have a big ice cream scoop use less or more if you want it real thick now with the remainder of the melted butter Scotch.
Except for the stuff we had in the bag we’re just going to take this and just scoop it inside of my blender.
I’m also going to take some of the chunks I’m gonna leave about a quarter of them behind but I’m gonna just dump those in there as well the whole chunks.
So I’m gonna leave about that many left over now we just put our top on our blender and mix up okay it didn’t take long and as you see everything mixed in really well.
So I have my glass here and now, I’m just going to pour this right into the glass and I’m going to go right on up to the top there.
You can top this milkshake off any way you like but of course with some whipped cream on top is always good and some of those chunks.
we saved and let’s not forget the melted butter scotch and just kind of drizzle it all over the top here decorate it with a nice little straw well now the best part of any video and that’s the taste test.
